After taking a closer look, we’ve broken down why we love Rosemary tea and have added it to our healthy hair routine.
- Promotes blood circulation: contains ursolic acid which helps to increase circulation to the scalp. Drinking rosemary tea can help increase blood circulation, which helps to deliver necessary nutrients to the hair. This also helps increase circulation to the scalp to help prevent hair loss and help regrow hair.
- Reduces scalp issues: contains anti-inflammatory properties to sooth a variety of issues including an itchy scalp and dandruff.
- Preventative to hair loss: Rosemary has been suggested to act as an antioxidant and an anti-inflammatory. Rosemary extract may also act as an anti-androgen, blocking DHT from binding to its receptor. (DHT = dihydrotestosterone and has been associated with hair thinning).
- Promotes hair shine and boosts strength: Drinking the tea can help increase blood circulation which in turn helps to deliver vital nutrients to hair follicles. This will assist in building stronger strands to help to make your hair shiny and silky.
